Becoming a prey to some kind of abuse or the other is a bitter reality of a celeb's life. But while a commoner's experience of abuse is short-lived, a celeb's lives long courtesy the kind of media glare its subjected to.
Our Bigg Boss 7 contestants are no exception to being victims of abuse and have traumatic past as well. The skeletons in their cupboards are many in number!

 

Sofia Hayat had been raped by her uncle, Kamya Panjabi had an abusive relationship with husband Bunty Negi, Pratyusha Banerjee took her boyfriend to the cops with the complain of physical abuse and Gauhar and Tanishaa had gone through extremely bitter break-ups.

Kamya opened up about her past, to reveal that a month before entering the show, she had been through a divorce. If sources are to be believed, Kamya has had a traumatic married life. Her husband Bunty Negiused to physically abuse her. It that was not enough, on January, 24, 2013, he fell off from the fifth floor, while attending a friend’s party at the friend’s apartment. Bunty was immediately rushed to the Hinduja Hospital, and was diagnosed with multiple fractures and other major injuries. Bunty was an alcoholic, as revealed by our sources. They claim this to be the reason for the fall; while others say this was just an accident.

 Uday Chopra and Tanishaa met during Neal ‘N’ Nikki. The two were rumored to be dating each other for quite some time. According to sources, they were even planning a marriage. However, their relationship turned sour, and they parted ways. The reason of the alleged “break-up” was Tanishaa. Apparently, she wanted to concentrate on her career.

 Gauhar has been through two failed relationships. In the past, Gauahar was in a serious relationship with Deepika Padukone and Arpita Khan’s ex-boyfriend Nihar Pandya. Arpita Khan is Salman Khan’s sister. Nihar is an aspiring actor, and a regular party goer. There were even rumors of the couple being engaged. But Gauhar broke up with him just before entering Bigg Boss 7.

 Before Nihar Pandya, Gauhar was dating a Delhi based boy, called Sahil Peerzada. Sahil’s real name is Sajid. Sahil's name caught media's attention, when his girlfriend Zohal Hamid accused Royal Challengers Bangalore player Luke Pomersbach for molesting her and allegedly beating up Sahil.

Pratyusha was dating Makrand Malhotra. They broke up after she accused him of abusing her physically. They matter even reached the police; as Pratyusha filed FIR against Makrand for all the harassment – verbal and physical. In return, Makrand even had a much heated argument with Pratyusha’s father.

 Hayat made a shocking disclosure, on how she was physically abused by own father, during her childhood. If she failed to return home on time, from school or park, her father would hit her with his belt. He would continue doing so until she bled. It got so bad, such that she and her sisters started wearing five layers of clothing to protect themselves. She even confessed that her father was an aggressive man, and often abused her mother. Sofia has been through such traumatic situations; and now she has decided to put an end to getting into abusive relationships. She used to dance in night clubs to earn fifty pounds a night. Her parents were totally opposed to her being an actress, a singer or even a dancer. They considered such professions not worthy of their name. It was like prostitution for them. While, Sofia was very passionate about what she wanted to do, and she followed her ambition. Finally, she even achieved it, against all odds.
